One of the very nice collection auctions we've featured recently has gone back up after not selling the first time around, and it is now $1,000 cheaper. Crunching the numbers, that's less than $3 an item. If you are looking to Start a Hasbro collection, this is an auction you may just want to look at.

Following similar cases with a number of Hasbro's previous mail-in offers, we've received word from Rebelscum reader Michael H. that cards have been sent out to collectors who are still waiting to receive their Boba Fett Prototype Armor figure, to inform of a delay in fulfilling their request. A new batch of figures is scheduled to ship on July, 20, 2012. If you've sent in for one (or more) of these and have yet to receive your order, you may want to keep an eye out for the card.

Like a bad penny, the poorly done reproduction carded Yak Face is back, and has currently duped thirty one bidders (or at least thirty one bids) bringing this up to over $500. The seller 'appears to be different', but zero feedback is leading us to believe there is something extra-fishy going on here. We're going to watch this one to see if eBay watchdogs over bid this auction like the last one, which if memory served ended at something over $90,000! Now, we're not encouraging the same action, but we wanted to link this auction so everyone has a front row seat for this scam in progress. What could possibly be better than a second chance for collectors to get the armoured version of Hasbro's Savage Opress action figure? The one that hasn't been on shelves since last year? How about packaging it with two brand new figures like, say, The Clone Wars versions of the cyborg Darth Maul and Mother Talzin (even if it is just called 'Nightsister')? Fear not, you aren't dreaming, and this is not an imaginary tale. Target will be offering a new Battle Pack called Darth Maul Returns that features three off the coolest figures you could ever hope for. Click the thumbnail above for a closer look at the set and then head into the Rebelscum Forums to check out the thread the above image turned up.

Among the figures that Hasbro revealed would be released as part of The Vintage Collection, during their presentation at this year's New York Toy Fair back in February, were Darth Vader (Emperor’s Wrath), Shock Trooper and Sandtrooper, and we have pictures to show you the variant cardbacks of both the Vader and Sandtrooper, as well as a debut in TVC for the Shock Trooper.

Most long-time Star Wars collectors can tell you that the original Kenner collection's infamous Blue Snaggletooth figure was most commonly available in the Cantina Adventure Set, but not as well known is the fact that later releases of this set came with the standard Red Snaggletooth. Trouble is, you have to open the box to find out for sure. So the question is, if you had the AFA sealed set linked above would you be able to keep it sealed or would curiosity eventually get the best of you?

With the 3 3/4" line moving into its seventeenth consecutive year in stores, you have to wonder where else Hasbro can go with the line. The Probe Droid is wondering if you'd be interested in a fresh take on the line with 6" figures that could be more articulated or screen accurate. Follow this link to let your voice be heard!

Poll
What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
