While Sideshow Collectibles has had a strong and growing fan base since 1998, the launch of their 1/4 scale Star Wars Premium Format line in 2004 put a much-deserved spotlight on the small California company. With the line's success as the first figures arrived at doorsteps in 2005, SSC was well on the way of winning the hearts of Star Wars collectors, so it was a welcome surprise when they announced their 12" figure line in 2006. In doing so, SSC introduced many Star Wars collectors to the world of high end 1/6 scale collecting, and more open-minded collecting habits.

What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
